NQ. Hardware is an independently owned hardware store. The original plumbing store which was established pre World War 2, was purchased by the Barletta family on the 1st April 1985
(April Fools Day).
The family business expanded into paint about a year later, and by 1992 had completed the new store and diversified into a fully fledged hardware store.

NQ. Hardware service the Atherton Tablelands, Cairns, the Gulf country, Cape York Peninsula and the Torres Straits. Our staff take pride in providing specialist service and understanding the needs of customers with some unique requirements from the DIY to the Tradesman thru to our customers who are in the harsh remote areas of Northern Australia.

Hardware belong to national franchise groups (Home Timber and Hardware for Retail and Trade Hardware) and (Plumbtec for all Plumbing, Bathroom, Kitchen and Roofing) thus giving us the ability to buy better and providing our customers much more competitive pricing and handshake with Australia's leading suppliers.

We also have invested a lot of money into a fully intergrated point of sale system (DART) which allows us to give our customers up to date information for the day to day running of their businesses.
